IC Markets, one of the leading Forex and CFD brokers in the world, launched its new global marketing campaign in front of thousands of rugby fans at the Rugby World Cup Sevens competition that was hosted at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa, the week before.
The advertisement, which was developed by Silver Bullet Films, a South African creative agency, will be broadcast in ten different nations over the course of the next six months.
The advertisement uses the recent release of the sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun, Top Gun: Maverick, to capitalize on the resurgence of interest in the original film and encourage traders to "trade up" to IC Markets in order to take advantage of its improved features and services.
Andrew Budzinski, CEO of IC Markets, provided some commentary on the ad by saying,
